That was a real farce and spoiled the movie completely. Without that it would have been half decent. Shame.
Det distributing. Remake well done; still, your average horror flick, nothing groundbreaking or truly terrifying here. Still one of the best trailers ever made. Dethleffs. Det printers. It's marketed as a slasher, but it ends up being not much of anything. Had trouble sitting through it and I m someone who got freaked out by the first Final Destination movie. Doesn't get lower tolerance than that.
First of all, there was ridiculous amount of jump scares that weren't even scary, they tried so hard that it lost its taste at some point, story got boring in the first half of the movie it took too much time to combine the stories of the children, everything was CGI and not realistic enough, nothing unexpected happened maybe trailer gave away too much. Actually trailer is better than the movie.
Bill Skalsgard killed the role, acting of the kids' was successful but the great potential of this movie was wasted.
It didn't float.
